Russia. First stage of advanced soybean processing plant to be launched by summer

LLC Amuragrocenter is finishing the commissioning of the first stage of a plant for advanced soybean processing in the Far East. As of today, the facility operates in a pilot industrial mode. Over 11 KMT of feedstock has been processed.

At the second stage of the project it is planned to produce soy protein isolate from soybeans grown in Amur region. Therefore this will be a unique facility in Russia. The second stage is now under design and examinations. In addition, a target loan worth RUB 2.1 Bl was allocated for its implementation.

The project's total cost is estimated at RUB 5.8 Bl, reports UkrAgroConsult.

As a reminder, LLC Amuragrocenter is one of the Russian Far East's largest companies processing cereals and pulses. It comprises facilities for producing, in particular, hydrated and refined soybean oil, meal, extruded feed soy, complete compound feeds and concentrated compound feeds.
